May 12, 2007 - The Small-Mart Revolution was awarded a 2007 Independent Publisher Book Award today. The award for the book, also known as an "Ippy Award," is a Bronze Medal in the business category.

A total of 2,690 national entries for 65 national categories were received for the 2007 competition, ranging from all 50 U.S. states, 8 Canadian provinces, and 17 countries overseas.

The Independent Publisher Book Awards are given for the "best indie-published books of the year" and have been awarded since 1996. The Small-Mart Revolution's publisher, Berrett-Koehler, received 5 additional 2007 Ippy Awards for recently published authors.
